Practice Areas
John Stompoly primarily handles cases that involve
injuries due to negligence, malpractice or defective products. Each of
them enjoys many years of experience in these kinds of cases.
Automobile accidents are a common and unfortunate fact of life. We
regularly represent persons who have been injured in such accidents. We
work with investigators and accident reconstructionists to determine what
happened and find out whether our client's injury was caused by someone
else's negligent conduct.
We represent people who have been
victims of other types of negligence as well, such as victims of
accidental shootings, and people who have been injured by hidden dangers
on property.
We also represent persons injured by defective
products. We work with engineers and other experts to determine whether a
vehicle, appliance, piece of machinery, or other product may have been
designed or manufactured in a way that makes it unreasonably dangerous. We
have successfully handled a number of such cases.
We have worked
extensively with people who have been injured by a professional's failure
to adhere to professional standards. We work, for example, with medical
experts to determine whether a client or a client's loved one received the
appropriate diagnosis and care. We assist our client in determining
whether they have sustained an injury as the result of a failure to abide
by the standard of reasonable professional care.
In personal
injury cases, whether they involve automobile accidents, defective
products, or professional malpractice, our legal fees are usually charged
on a contingent basis. This means we only get a fee if we succeed at
getting compensation for the client.
If you have been injured as
the result of someone else's negligence, we will pursue every avenue
available to help you recover compensation for medical bills, lost wages,
out-of-pocket expenses, pain and suffering, and future medical expenses
where appropriate. We don't want you to settle for less.
